BRANFORD HIGH SCHOOL PERFORMING ARTS
Branford High School Performing Arts proudly announces its 2010 musical, On the Town, the story of three sailors on a 24-hour leave in New York City.  The original show was later made into a movie with Gene Kelly and Frank Sinatra. The show opens Wednesday, March 17th and runs through Sunday, March 21st.  Beginning February 1st, tickets will be available for purchase by phoning 203-488-7291, ext. 2500. TABOR COMMUNITY ARTS CENTER
Sing and String.  For students who are interested in violin, but aren’t quite sure what it’s all about-the Tabor Community Arts Center is now forming beginner and intermediate-beginner groups.  These low cost, $7 per session lessons, are designed to introduce both children and parents to the violin in a low stress, high fun environment.  Tabor Arts is also forming an all Boys Chorus, designed for boys in the 2nd-8th grade who just love to sing. Under the direction of Michael Carnaroli, the chorus will focus on great technique, fun music and the pure joy of singing.  Call 203-488-5668 for more info.
