BCTV Cable 19 is the Educational Access channel for Branford, Connecticut. BCTV Cable 19 is the source for educational programming for Branford, including programming originating from the Branford Public School system. BCTV Cable 19 broadcasts from the Walsh Intermediate School on Damascus Road in Branford, and is available to all Branford subscribers of Comcast. In October, 2008, BCTV Cable19 was added to the AT&T U-Verse lineup and is now available to all AT&T U-Verse subscribers throughout Connecticut. BCTV Cable 19 is operated under the direction of staff at Walsh Middle School, in conjunction with BCTV, Branford Community Television, Inc., the officially recognized P.E.G. access provider for Branford, Connecticut.
BCTV Cable 19 is an educational access channel televising school plays, musicals, talk shows, sporting events, club meetings, seminars etc.
BCTV members provide technical assistance and consultation to assist with program production and free loan of video equipment to interested parties.
